How to get the most out of your tan

Prepare

The Day Before

Remove any unwanted hair the day before applying your tan to allow pores plenty of time to close, tan in your pores will leave you with a ‘dotty’ finish

Paint your nails and toenails, particularly if you have acrylic extensions! Not only will this leave you feeling even more pampered but it will also prevent your nails and cuticles from being stained.

Buff away dead skin cells with body scrub to reveal the ultimate smooth base for your tan. Pay particular attention to dry areas such as elbows, knees and feet. Then use a moisturiser to help keep your skin supple, soft and glowing.

On The day

Do not use deodorant, perfume, make-up, moisturiser and ideally do not come straight after having a shower or bath.

Bring loose dark clothing to wear after your tan and it is a advised afterwards to not wear a bra or tight clothing until you have fully developed. Also please bring loose fitting shoes or flip flops.

After

Do not shower for at least 8 hours after your tan, it ill take this time to fully develop and reveal your gorgeous developed colour. Stay in the shower until the water runs clear as if there is any guide colour left on your skin this could rub off on clothes or furniture. When finished washing pat yourself dry, this will help prolong the Spray Tan.

Do not go to the gym or get wet during your development of the spray tan. So swimming and washing up is a no.

Wear skincare or body products during the development period. Perfumes and chemicals can react with the Tan making it turn green

Prolong

Moisturise daily to enhance and prolong your Spray Tan.

Start gentle exfoliation after 4 days to encourage and even wear off.

If you are going out in the sun remember to still wear a SPF sun protection. A Spray Tan will not help protect your skin.
